We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist to strengthen our client’s Transaction Operations team at Virta. Virta is a fast-growing global EV charging platform company, enabling businesses to build and scale smart, sustainable charging networks for the future of electric mobility.

In this role, you will focus especially on fleet and roaming operations. You will use data to investigate billing-related issues, validate information, solve support cases and improve existing ways of working. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on specialist who enjoys combining technical problem solving with practical business operations.

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • You have practical SQL experience and have used it to retrieve, combine or analyse data

  • You have practical Python skills and can use Python in data-related tasks

  • You are comfortable investigating discrepancies and solving problems based on data

  • You are curious, collaborative and comfortable asking questions when working with unfamiliar topics

  • You can work confidently in English, which is Virta’s primary working language

  • Experience with database modelling, Jira or Confluence is considered an advantage

     

Previous experience in finance operations or the EV charging industry is not required. More important is your ability to learn quickly, work with data and approach operational problems with an open mind.

If you move forward to the second round, you will complete a test to assess your SQL and Python skills.

As a Business Operations Specialist, your work will include:

  • Supporting Virta’s fleet and roaming operations

  • Retrieving, combining and analysing data using SQL

  • Validating billing data and investigating discrepancies related to invoices and settlements

  • Resolving transaction-related support cases

  • Helping automate manual work and improve existing processes

  • Learning to work with Snowflake and Virta’s internal systems

  • Collaborating with an international team with strong expertise in data and business operations

📍 Location: Hybrid. During the first three months, you should be able to work at Virta’s office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, around two days per week to support effective onboarding.

💰 Billing rate: €22 to 30€ / hour + VAT, depending on previous relevant experience. The work is carried out under an entrepreneur model with a service agreement through Lenz.
