About the Role

A global chemicals company is building a digital service startup inside a large corporation. The team develops and operates a next-generation Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform that helps factories around the world optimize energy efficiency and water purity in their production processes.

We’re looking for a motivated student from North Carolina to join our European-based team and help support the growing user base in the U.S. This is a remote, part-time role with flexible hours — ideal for an ambitious student interested in technology, data, entrepreneurship and global collaboration.

Your Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with users and coordinate with the EU technical team

  • Resolve issues related to: data and data pipelines, IIoT devices and connectivity, the platform’s reporting tools and dashboards and access and authentication requests

  • Learn and apply modern digital service support practices

  • Identify patterns and contribute ideas to improve user experience and platform performance

  • Independent, resilient, reliable, and eager to learn

  • Comfortable working remotely and flexibly

  • Prior tech or data experience is a plus, but not required — full training provided

📍 Location: Remote (North Carolina)

💰 Compensation: Hourly compensation starts from 20USD not including taxes. Work is done under a contractor model with a service agreement.

🕒 Working hours: Part-time, flexible (15-20hrs per week)

📅 Start date: ASAP. This role does not have a defined end date. The onboarding and training period lasts approximately 8 weeks, after which you will continue in the role. We are looking for someone who is willing and able to commit to the position for at least one year, ideally longer.
